Washington in the West is a full-day conference designed specifically for patent and trademark practitioners. This annual event offers exceptional programming with a dedicated patent track and a dedicated trademark track, as well as outstanding opportunities to connect with leaders shaping the future of intellectual property law. During the conference, LAIPLA presents its Public Service Award to a member who has made a significant contribution to the public good.

Traditionally held in the historic Biltmore Hotel, our biggest night of the year honors those members of the judiciary who handle intellectual property matters. It also features an interactive discussion of current IP topics with a panel of prominent judges.

Spring Seminar is a nationally renowned intellectual property conference. Traditionally held over a weekend in May at a nearby resort, Spring Seminar features panels of distinguished IP leaders discussing key developments in the law, and networking events for attendees and their guests throughout the weekend.
